I heard a beautiful illustration about going through difficult times & wanted to share,

“Sometimes in life we go through difficult or dark times
How can example of Jonah help us?
He was thrown into the sea
And swallowed by a big fish
It happened so fast
Things can hit us suddenly too,
Out of nowhere
What was it like in that belly?
Dark
When we are going through something,
We can feel in a dark place.
Mentally and emotionally.
Jonah didn’t know what would happen
In his mind it wasn’t going to change.
But the moment the fish swallowed Jonah,
It was on the move.
On the move to a beach
Where it would spit him out
And he was able to start life again.
So, although from his standpoint
Nothing was changing,
Something was changing.
Because the fish was on a journey
You may feel nothing is changing
Something is changing
Time is going past
It will have a beginning,
And it will have an end.
It is for a time.
Sooner or later, it will end
And we will have a new life ahead of us”

I loved this so much I wanted to design a picture of a person who is enduring a trial, and it’s as if they are in that big fish. The design has a girl inside the whale.

I have a postcard with the design on the front, and the illustration above printed on the back. This 4x6 postcard is not as thick as my other art cards I am selling and does not come with an envelope.
